The life of a MOOC forum post

One of the most interesting things about the Epidemics! MOOC last year was the quality of the discussion happening in the forums.  For this year we're working on some new ways to visualize and interact with the forums to make that discussion even more interactive.  

We're working on some cool interactive visualizations (if you've got ideas, don't be shy),  but for now here's  a static view of what the forum activity looked like last year . . . .
